Celebrating 18 Graduates of Our Leadhers 2.0 Digital Literacy Training to Employment Program
Leadhers 2.0 Digital Literacy Program (September 18-December 18): & additional two months internship.
The Leadhers 2.0 Digital Literacy Program, spanning from September 18 to December 18, targeted students were 40, but we successfully vetted 25 young women empowering them through digital literacy program education. The program aimed at bridging the gender gap in technology by offering comprehensive training in digital skills, including computer literacy, online safety, and the use of various software tools.

Courses Highlights:
The Leadhers 2.0 digital literacy program had two Phases, In phase I our participants completed training on topics such as:
Basics computer skills; Internet basics;
Using email; Windows 1; Mac OS; Microsoft Office suite; Google doc.
And Phase II covers topics such as:
Resume & Cover Letter writing; Public speaking; Goal setting; Entrepreneurship; and Personal Development workshops.
1. Empowering Women:
Leadhers 2.0 successfully recruited and empowered young women fresh out of high schools and provided them with essential digital literacy skills, enhancing their employability and fostering independence.
2. Extended Duration:
The four-month duration allowed for an in-depth exploration of digital literacy topics,
ensuring participants had a thorough understanding of the subject matter.
Additionally, 2 months of internship opportunities were provided to participants in the program who did well in lessons taught in the program.

Conclusion:
The Leadhers 2.0 digital literacy program was a tuition free program, which was fully funded by Laureus Foundation.
The successful execution of the Leadhers 2.0 Digital Literacy Program exemplifies our commitment to community development. The programs not only enriched the lives of the participants but also contributed to the overall well-being and empowerment of our community members. Looking ahead, we aim to build on these accomplishments, continually adapting and expanding our initiatives to address the evolving needs of our community.
